1.) What are your current goals and why?

My current goals are: to gain strength and build bigger muscles


2.) What keeps you motivated?

Hitting new PRs on lifts

The feeling I get when I workout - I feel on top of the world, strong, and an overall badass. It is addicting, so I make sure I make time for myself so I can feel GOOD!


3.) Why is it important to you to live a healthy lifestyle?

To feel good, to look good, and live a long life. I know that eating well, being active, and having my mental health in check will all lead to a healthy life. I also want to be a role model to my kids and stay active with them. My goal is to be 80 lifting weights.


4.) What is your most memorable experience in this program?

For me it's food - all the food I get to eat. I was so hung up on low-carb diets that I avoided nutritious foods that I love (apples, bananas, and sweet potatoes). I remember the first time Alexa told me to eat oats and a banana and my first thought was “oh my goodness, all those carbs!”, but I followed her instructions. NI have learned that I need them to perform and grow to meet my goals.


5.) BRIGHT SPOTS. Hype up your accomplishments, what are you most proud of so far since starting the program?

My strength right now feels like it is in overdrive and I am pushing through PRs - 450 pounds of plates on the leg press, 115lbs iso-lateral row machine (on one arm), and so much more!


Feeling confident in my own skin - I love to flex in the mirror and see the beautiful muscles that I created!
