1.) What motivated you to join the program, and what were you struggling with before you started?

Before joining the program, I felt stuck. My postpartum body wasn’t as forgiving as it had been before kids, and I was struggling with major brain fog and anxiety. I was constantly exhausted and overwhelmed by the demands of motherhood, the stress of running my photography business, and life in general. I would try to eat healthy, but would always end up snacking on whatever the kids were eating out of convenience. I finally hit a breaking point and knew I needed to prioritize my health so I could be stronger physically and mentally - for myself, my kids, and everyone I love. I made the decision to work with Emma and join the Allru team and haven’t looked back for a second. I’ve learned so much about how to fuel my body.

2.) What’s been the most surprising or unexpected thing about your journey so far?

Admittedly, I’ve never been a good cook and honestly never really enjoyed it. But I genuinely love cooking now. This journey has pushed me to try new recipes and be more mindful of the ingredients I use. My family loves the variety, and I love knowing what I’m putting in my body. Food truly is medicine!

Another unexpected part of this journey is that I’ve been alcohol-free for six months. I originally cut out alcohol for a month to help with my brain fog, anxiety, and energy levels. But after that month, I felt so clear-headed that I decided to go for another—and now it’s been six months. I’m not saying I’ll never have a drink again, but it feels amazing to have a clear mind and keep my anxiety under control so I can focus on my goals and being a good mom. I’ve had fun embracing mocktails!

3.) What’s a non-scale victory that stands out to you since joining All-Tru?

My energy levels have quadrupled.

I’m better at managing my time and setting work-life boundaries. Planning my schedule in advance has helped me stay focused, make time for daily movement, meal prep, and be fully present with my kids.

My immune system is stronger than ever. When I do get sick, I bounce back a lot quicker.

4.)How has this program impacted your life beyond fitness or nutrition?

Oh gosh, it has impacted every aspect of my life. This program has given me the confidence to prioritize myself, allowing me to show up more thoughtfully for those I care about. Week after week, I’ve worked on building sustainable, healthy habits. When I face a tough day or week, I focus on my nonnegotiables, which helps me stay on track and present in the moment. I’m a more energized and patient mom and partner.

5.)If you could go back to Day 1 and give yourself advice, what would you say?

Change doesn’t happen overnight; it’s the result of small, consistent efforts everyday. It takes time to see and feel results, but laying the foundation is essential to the process and your journey. Everyone grows at their own pace. Focus on small daily goals because, before you know it, you’ll feel and see the impact. You got this girl!💪🏼
