What are your current goals and why?

My current goal is to build muscle! Before starting All-Tru I struggled with eating enough as well as eating nutritious and balanced meals. I am getting married in October and taking care of my body was a big to do.

What keeps you motivated?

I have always loved health and fitness. Our bodies are meant to do so much more than move through the daily tasks that our culture has created. I feel that motivation is only half the battle. Do I feel like going to workout everyday or document my meals everyday day? No, not really but making an effort towards healthier habits really keeps me going.


I may not feel really strong one day but challenging my mind with different movements and truly enjoying your movements makes a difference! Coach Gabbi has been so great about molding my workouts around how my body feels and seeing the results each week keeps me coming back for more!


Why is it important to you to live a healthy lifestyle?

Living a healthy lifestyle keeps me sane. I cannot control other people around me but what I can control is how I choose to move and feed my body! I also have a congenital heart condition as well and I was always told that I would never be able to do a lot of the things that others could do (I love proving people wrong). Since I started weight training my heart condition has gone from severe to mild and this just goes to show what movement can do for your cardiovascular system.


What is your most memorable experience in this program?

I am still really new to All-Tru, but the amount of support and knowledge in this group is outstanding. Gabbi has been so supportive with my life outside of health and fitness. Also, knowing that this program is not all about pushing yourself to the limit but really focusing on what your body needs is just incredible.


BRIGHT SPOTS. Hype up your accomplishments, what are you most proud of so far since starting the program?

My biggest accomplishment is sticking with the plan! The fact that I still feel interested and willing to make changes in my daily habits just shows how contagious the energy is in this group. I have also developed so much muscle growth in my lower body, which has always been challenging for me. This program goes to show that when you have the proper resources you can accomplish so much more!
